Place a new image intentionally

Choose a file first, then drag on the page to place it. The editor no longer interrupts your canvas click with an unexpected upload dialog.

Replace only the selected image

Selection matters. Replace Selected updates the current image object instead of creating another one by accident.

Resize with lightweight handles

Select an image and drag the corner handles to adjust its footprint without deleting and re-placing the object.

Open the editor and switch to the Image tool.

Click Choose Image and select a PNG or JPG file.

Click the image or its thumbnail row to select it.

Current image editing scope

This workflow is designed for practical PDF editing rather than full design software. You can add an image, select it later, resize it with the corner handles, replace only the selected object, and remove it with the keyboard.

It fits common business edits such as changing a logo, adding a signature, placing a stamp, or resizing a small diagram inside a PDF before export.

It intentionally does not include rotation, multi-select, or advanced layer controls yet. The goal is a faster and more predictable image editing path for everyday PDF work.

How do I add an image to a PDF online?

Open the Image tool, choose a PNG or JPG file, then drag on the page to place it. After placement, you can reselect the image, resize it with the handles, replace it, or delete it.

Can I replace an existing image in the PDF editor?

Yes. Select the image object first, then choose Replace Selected. The new file replaces only the currently selected image instead of adding another object.

What keyboard shortcuts are supported?
